Rain postpones Scottish Premiership clash

Tonight's Scottish Premiership fixture between Dundee United and St Johnstone has been postponed.

The Tannadice Park pitch had been the subject of an inspection this afternoon due to the wet conditions in Scotland.

Following that assessment, it has been decided that the playing surface is not fit enough to host the match, which will now be scheduled for a later date.

As a result, it will mean that St Johnstone goalkeeper Alan Mannus will now be suspended for Saturday's League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.
