Jon Parkin joins Doncaster Rovers

Doncaster Rovers have signed Jon Parkin on a one-month loan deal from Cardiff City, subject to international clearance.

The 29-year-old has only featured on two occasions for the Bluebirds this season, both of which were Carling Cup ties.

Parkin has been handed the number 19 shirt and could make his Rovers debut this Saturday against Crystal Palace.

The striker has also played for Barnsley and Preston North End.
