Derby County goalkeeper joins Burton Albion on loan

Derby County goalkeeper Mats Morch has joined Burton Albion on a one-month loan deal.

The Norwegian keeper, who is a product of Derby's youth academy, has yet to make a senior appearance for the Rams.

Derby manager Nigel Clough said: "This is a good opportunity for Mats to go out and gain some experience of being in and around the first-team environment on a matchday.

"It's another step forwards in his progression and we're sure he'll benefit from it as a result."

Morch was an unused substitute as Burton won 3-2 at Fleetwood Town this afternoon.
