Crystal Palace are attempting to tie up a loan deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle before the transfer deadline, according to reports.
Wolves manager Kenny Jackett has been keen to offload the 30-year-old Irish international, who has 10 months remaining of his £40,000-a-week deal with the Midlands side.
Earlier tonight, Eagles co-chairman Steve Parish revealed that he had agreed a deal for a forward who had previously played in the Premier League.
Doyle, who spent part of last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers in the Championship, will join deadline-day signings Zeki Fryers and James McArthur at Selhurst Park.
