Crystal Palace 'make enquiry for Queens Park Rangers' Jordon Mutch'

Crystal Palace have reportedly enquired over a possible loan deal for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Jordon Mutch.

The 23-year-old started four of QPR's first five Premier League games this season after joining in a £6m transfer from relegated Cardiff City.

He has struggled to regain his place in the team following a couple of injuries and Palace want to know whether he is available on loan, according to Sky Sports News.

New Eagles boss Alan Pardew is keen to improve his options in the centre of the park this month and has also allegedly held initial talks with Stephane Mbia over a free transfer from Spanish side Sevilla.

Mutch scored seven times in 35 appearances for Cardiff last term in spite of their top-flight troubles.
