Murray signs new Palace deal

Glenn Murray has signed a new three-year deal with Crystal Palace.

The 29-year-old, who is top scorer in the Championship with 29 goals, arrived at Selhurst Park on a free transfer from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2011.

According to Sky Sports News, he put pen to paper on a contract extension, that will tie him to the Eagles until 2016.

The news may come as a boost to Palace, whose chances of promotion have taken a downward turn following six games without a win.
