James McArthur 'ignoring' transfer talk amid Arsenal link

James McArthur 'ignoring' transfer talk

James McArthur has refused to entertain suggestions that he could leave Crystal Palace in January.

The Scotland international played over 150 times for Wigan Athletic between 2010 and 2014, before joining Palace, where he has developed into an ever-present at Selhurst Park.

The midfielder's form has led to talk of interest from Arsenal as they look to replace the injured Francis Coquelin, but McArthur has claimed that 'he will not listen' to rumours of a departure.

"I'm not going to listen to the rumours. I am just going to go about my job at Crystal Palace, because I am really enjoying my football," he told the Surrey Mirror.

The 28-year-old has scored twice in 17 appearances for Palace this season.
