Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Crystal Palace

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Crystal Palace

Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Crystal Palace to Molineux on Tuesday evening looking for their fifth consecutive Championship win.

Stale Solbakken's ever-improving side have recovered from their slow start to the season to climb the table and currently sit third in the league, level on points with leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.

Solbakken will be without midfielder Razak Boukari, who limped out of their victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but Stephen Ward has shaken off a knock and is expected to continue at left-back.

Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey and key midfield duo Jamie O'Hara and Stephen Hunt are long-term absentees, with the latter having recently undergone hip surgery.

Eagles boss Dougie Freedman could name the same XI that recorded an impressive away win at Bolton Wanderers this weekend, which stretched Palace's own unbeaten run to five matches.

Defender Peter Ramage is still absent with a thigh injury while new signing Danny Gabbidon is unlikely to be included as he is still short of match fitness.
