Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock "can't afford" to comment on FA fine

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock refuses to comment on his £9,000 FA fine because he "can't afford to".

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has refused to comment on his recent Football Association fine because he "can't afford to".

The 65-year-old was forced to pay £9,000 for his comments about referee Craig Pawson.

Warnock suggested that the match official was influenced by Chelsea's players when he opted to send off Damien Delaney during Palace's 2-1 defeat to the Blues at Selhurst Park last month.

In today's press conference, when asked for his reaction following the fine, Warnock said: "I don't want to comment on that. I can't afford to."

Palace currently sit 17th in the Premier League table after 10 games.
