Croatia have been hit with a fine from UEFA for the behaviour of their fans during their clash against the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.
The Euro 2012 Group C side have been dealt the blow due to the conduct of their supporters during the Croats' 3-1 win over Ireland, where the fans were seen to set off flares in the stadium as well as storming the pitch.
The European governing body have confirmed the fine moments after announcing that they will be investigating an alleged incident where a banana was thrown onto the pitch during Italy's 1-1 draw with Croatia yesterday.
Croatia are currently second in the group, level on points with Spain.
