Coventry City have signed Nottingham Forest striker David McGoldrick on a three-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old, who spent one month on loan at Sheffield Wednesday last term, has struggled to make an impact at the City Ground since his 2009 move from Southampton.
He could now feature for the Sky Blues against Crewe on Saturday.
McGoldrick scored one goal in four appearances for the Owls.
