Coventry hope to keep Bailey

Coventry City manager Mark Robins has admitted that he would like to keep Derby County midfielder James Bailey at the League One club until the end of the season.

Bailey's loan spell at the Ricoh Arena ended on Boxing Day, but Robins has revealed that he has ambitions to keep the former Crewe Alexandra player at the club.

Robins told BBC Sport: "I'd like to sign James permanently but, if not that, then on loan again. We will see what can be done in January."

The 24-year-old has scored one goal in 18 appearances for Coventry this season.
