Arsenal youngster Conor Henderson completes loan move to Coventry City

Arsenal youngster joins Coventry

Coventry City have completed the signing of Arsenal youngster Conor Henderson on loan for three months.

The 21-year-old is a regular for the Republic of Ireland at youth level and made his first-team debut for the Gunners in 2011 against Leyton Orient in the FA Cup.

New Sky Blues boss Mark Robins has declared that he is delighted with Henderson's capture.

Robins said: "In Conor we have a very clever, intelligent midfield player with a wand of a left foot in the mould of players like Michael Carrick and Chris Brunt who's desperate to play and hungry for it."

Henderson, who has joined Coventry in search of regular playing time, will stay at the Ricoh Arena until December 22.
