Dede to join Corinthians

Corinthians have announced that they have won the race to sign highly-rated Brazilian defender Dede from Vasco da Gama.

The 24-year-old has been linked with AC Milan, Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent weeks, but has opted to remain in his homeland.

Alisson and Wellington Paulista will join Vasco on loan as part of the deal, Sky Sports News reports.

Dede will offer final confirmation of the move at an upcoming press conference.
