Half-Time Report: Chesterfield, Fleetwood Town goalless at the break

Chesterfield and Fleetwood Town are sharing a goalless draw in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area final second leg at the Proact Stadium.

It is currently goalless between Chesterfield and Fleetwood Town in their Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area final second leg at the Proact Stadium.

The visitors had an early sight of goal when the ball broke kindly to Antoni Sarcevic on the edge of the box, but he could only fire wide of the post.

James O'Shea and Gary Roberts then tried their luck from range for Chesterfield, although they both placed their respective efforts over the bar.

Chesterfield came close again as Jimmy Ryan cut in from the left but saw his fierce effort pushed away by Chris Maxwell.

Maxwell was forced into another save soon after, as he tipped over a close-range header from Marc Richards.

The home side had a chance to take the lead at the end of the half when Richards latched on to a ball over the top from Sam Morsy, but his attempted chip over the keeper was saved.
