Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has reportedly agreed to sign for Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer.
The Croatia international has been contracted to the Italian giants since 2015, contributing 55 goals and 49 assists from his 254 appearances in all competitions.
However, despite remaining as a regular in the starting lineup this season, the 33-year-old has failed to agree fresh terms with Inter, owing to their current financial issues.
Spurs - managed by Perisic's former Inter boss Antonio Conte - and Chelsea are known to have been monitoring the situation, Perisic a perfect addition to teams who plays with wing-backs and requires different options in the final third.
According to The Guardian, it is Spurs who have won the race for the veteran's signature with Conte playing a leading role in convincing the player to move to North London.
As well as Conte being said to have held personal talks with Perisic, it was allegedly only confirmed earlier this week that the Italian would remain in the Spurs dugout.
