Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing Tiemoue Bakayoko on loan from Chelsea for the 2018-19 season, and will pay up to 90% of his £6m-a-year wages.

Sevilla have reportedly identified Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko as a potential transfer target this summer.

Bakayoko only joined Chelsea from Monaco one year ago, but his performances during his debut campaign in England were often criticised despite making 43 appearances across all competitions.

The 23-year-old's future at the club was cast into further doubt due to the arrival of Jorginho last week, with the midfielder following new manager Maurizio Sarri from Napoli.

Paris United claims that Sevilla are eager to take advantage of the midfield competition at Chelsea by offering to take Bakayoko on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

The report goes on to say that Sevilla would be willing to pay up to 90% of the Frenchman's £6m-a-year wages in a bid to convince Chelsea to allow him to leave.

Sarri currently has N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, Cesc Fabregas, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek competing for a place in central midfield along with Bakayoko, leading to speculation that he could look to offload at least one of those players before the end of the transfer window.
