Batshuayi moved to the Blues in 2016, but the Belgium international made just 18 starts and 35 substitute outings under
before being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the last campaign. Antonio Conte are said to be Valencia interested in striking a similar deal for the 24-year-old, but according to the London Evening Standard, Sarri is keen to avoid parting ways with the striker.
Chelsea have been
linked with a number of attacking additions this summer, but it appears that Sarri rates Batshuayi and views the player as a key part of his first-team squad.
