Report: Kepa Arrizabalaga to accept loan exit and pay cut

A report claims that Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has acknowledged that he needs to find a new club in January if he is to get his career back on track.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is reportedly willing to accept a loan exit from Chelsea and a substantial hit on his £150,000-a-week wages in order to revive his career.

The 26-year-old has endured a torrid time of things in his two years at Stamford Bridge and now finds himself behind Edouard Mendy in the pecking order.

Kepa's poor form at club level has also effected his international prospects with Spain, having become third choice to Unai Simon and David de Gea.

According to The Sun, the Spanish keeper has now acknowledged that he needs to find a new club in January if he is to win back his place for La Roja.

La Liga side Valencia have previously been tipped to offer Kepa a temporary route away from Chelsea.
