Nathan de Souza confirms Chelsea deal

Brazilian midfielder Nathan de Souza has confirmed that he has joined Chelsea.

The 19-year-old posted pictures of himself on his Instagram account signing a contract with the Blues, although the club have not formally announced the deal.

However, his transfer is subject to being granted a work permit, and it is rumoured that Nathan may need to go out on loan initially.

He told his Instagram followers: "A dream is coming true! First of all I want to thank God for always lighting my way, my dad who always believed in my talent and was a real warrior while helping me to reach my goals, my family and friends who always supported me.

Chelsea drew 1-1 with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
