Galatasaray step up Jon Obi Mikel chase?

Galatasaray have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Jon Obi Mikel.

The Nigerian international could find himself surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge next season following the return of Jose Mourinho.

Turkish champions Gala are now expected to lodge a £13m bid for the 26-year-old, according to The Sun.

Mikel recently signed a five-year contract extension with Chelsea.
