Fiorentina determined to stop Chelsea from signing Stevan Jovetic

Fiorentina official Sandro Mencucci has tried to warn off Chelsea by suggesting that Stevan Jovetic is not for sale.

The Blues have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old, who is believed to be considering a switch away from the Serie A side.

"We want to build our future around Jovetic," Mencucci told Gazzetta dello Sport. "He has a contract until June 2016. Being a great player, it's normal that several clubs are monitoring him."

Jovetic scored 14 goals in 27 league appearances for the Italian side this season.
