Falcao hints that he would be open to a move to the Premier League in the future.

Atletico Madrid striker Falcao has claimed that he could move to a Premier League club in the future.

The Colombia international has been continually linked with a big-money move to Chelsea.

A prolific strike rate of 46 goals in 56 games for Atletico, whom he joined in 2011 from Porto, has seen him grab the attention of top clubs across Europe.

Falcao told The Times: "England? One day, I could go.

"It is a game I have watched for a long time and one day I would like to sample it.

"I used to watch it on television when I was a kid. Players like Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, [Gianfranco] Zola. But the one I supported was [Faustino] Asprilla, when he was at Newcastle. I think I could adapt to England. I think I could score goals."

Falcao, who began his career at River Plate, has earned 39 caps for Colombia, scoring 13 goals.
