Emerson Palmieri says that it is "too early" to discuss his long-term future at Chelsea, despite persistent speculation regarding a summer exit.

Emerson Palmieri has suggested that he has no plans to discuss his Chelsea future until the end of the season.

Despite being a regular with Italy, the left-back has made just seven starts and six substitute outings for the Blues in all competitions this season.

However, despite having just 15 months remaining on his contract, the 26-year-old wants to focus on playing a part at Stamford Bridge during the remainder of the campaign.

Speaking to RAI Sport, Palmieri said: "It's still early to talk about the future. I am focused on the national team only. We'll see what happens in June.

"Chelsea can go all the way in the Champions League and the FA Cup. We can win something this season."

Palmieri has frequently been linked with a transfer back to Serie A, with Inter Milan the latest team to be credited with an interest.
