Derby County secure Patrick Bamford loan deal

Derby County agree a deal with Chelsea to sign striker Patrick Bamford on loan for the rest of the season.

Derby County have agreed to loan Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old has spent the first half of the campaign on loan at League One side MK Dons, scoring 16 goals in 29 appearances.

His stay at Karl Robinson's side is due to expire at the weekend, but Chelsea will allow Bamford to complete the season at the Championship outfit.

Bamford, who is yet to make a first-team appearance at Stamford Bridge, earned his first cap for the England Under-21 side earlier this season.
