Andreas Christensen to reject Chelsea recall?

A report claims that Andreas Christensen wants to continue his loan stint with Borussia Monchengladbach, rather than return to parent club Chelsea.

Andreas Christensen reportedly has no intention of returning to Chelsea in the summer.

Last July, the 19-year-old joined Borussia Monchengladbach on a two-season loan deal.

His performances for Monchengladbach since then have earned him rave reviews, as well as supposed interest from Bayern Munich and a number of clubs in Spain.

In a bid to warn off potential suitors, it was recently suggested that Chelsea were eager for the Dane to head back to Stamford Bridge 12 months early.

However, according to The Guardian, the Blues did not insert a recall clause into the deal, which means that any decision would be down to Christensen.

The report adds that the youngster is likely to express a desire to remain at the Stadion im Borussia-Park, where he is guaranteed regular match action.

Christensen signed for the West Londoners from Brondby in 2012.
