Report: Chelsea to make January bid for Roma defender Kostas Manolas

Chelsea have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Roma defender Kostas Manolas.

The 24-year-old joined the Giallorossi from Olympiacos last summer and has enjoyed an impressive campaign at the Stadio Olimpico so far.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Jose Mourinho attempted to bring the Greece international to Stamford Bridge last season, and will try again in the New Year.

Manolas is also said to be on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
