Chelsea 'ponder Aleksandar Mitrovic bid'

Chelsea are reportedly considering whether to step up their pursuit of Anderlecht forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Yesterday, reports in the Netherlands had suggested that Newcastle United were ready to make a bid for the Serbian international.

However, the Daily Mail claims that the Premier League champions had Mitrovic watched on several occasions during last season.

The Blues ability to offer Champions League football next term may be a deciding factor in the striker's decision, with Mitrovic also thought to be looking for around £60,000 a week in wages.
