Chelsea are understood to be lining up a surprise move for Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The European champions are thought to have let the cash-strapped Championship club know of their interest in the England Under-21 international over the weekend.
They could now bring him to Stamford Bridge for as little as £3m, according to The Mirror.
Birmingham boss Lee Clark recently admitted that the club could be forced to sell the shotstopper.
