Chelsea confirm Papy Djilobodji signing

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of defender Papy Djilobodji from Nantes.

The 27-year-old has signed a four-year deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2019.

Djilobodji, who has become Chelsea's ninth capture of the summer, has said that he is pleased the deal has been done.

"I'm very happy to sign for a big club like Chelsea and I want to do my best to help the team win titles. I want to thank the club for giving me this opportunity," the Senegal international told Chelsea's official website.

Djilobodji made 32 appearances for Nantes in all competitions last season.
