Rafael Benitez coy over Demba Ba move

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has remained coy over Demba Ba's possible move from Newcastle United.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew claimed on Wednesday night that the transfer was all but done after the Blues had triggered a release clause in the striker's contract.

"I don't have any official information about the Ba situation," Benitez told Sky Sports News. "He is not our player."

Ba was at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night as Chelsea slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Queens Park Rangers.
