Alex on verge of Paris Saint-Germain switch

Chelsea defender Alex is believed to have snubbed Queens Park Rangers for a preferred move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Blues outcast was reportedly in talks with QPR over a proposed move to the West London side last week.

It is now understood that the Brazilian could exit Stamford Bridge for Ligue 1 side PSG in a £4m move, according to the Daily Star.

The 29-year-old is expected to leave the former Premier League champions this month after lodging a transfer request in December.

Meanwhile, PSG are thought to have made an approach for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
