Agent: 'Baba Rahman working on agreement with Chelsea'

The agent of Baba Rahman has revealed that Chelsea are close to completing the signing of the Augsburg defender.

Throughout the summer, Rahman has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, and Blues boss Jose Mourinho admitted on Friday that he was looking to sign a left-back as a replacement for Filipe Luis.

It appears as though his wait could soon be over after Rahman's agent Sascha Empacher revealed that the two parties were in discussions regarding a transfer.

Empacher told The Guardian: "Both clubs are still working on fine-tuning but we hope the agreement will be finalised soon."

The Ghana international made 31 Bundesliga appearances during the last campaign.
