Alvaro Pereira's agent says that there has been no approach for his client.

The agent of Porto defender Alvaro Pereira has insisted that his client has had no contact from Chelsea.

The Uruguayan has been tipped to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer after the Blues failed with a £20m bid last summer.

Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have also been linked with the 26-year-old, who is due to have talks with Porto to discuss his future.

Despite that uncertainty, his agent, Alejandro Savich, has said that so far, there has been no approach for Pereira.

"His contract is with Porto and he will stay there unless there is a proposal that is acceptable to the club," said Savich. "So far there is nothing at all."

Pereira joined Porto from Romanian side CFR Cluj in 2009.
