Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest team news ahead of their Premier League showdown with Everton on Monday evening.

An inspired Chelsea will aim to keep their unbeaten run going under Thomas Tuchel when they welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge for Monday's Premier League battle.

The German manager recently oversaw a memorable 1-0 win against reigning champions Liverpool at Anfield, with Mason Mount once again stealing the show as his first-half winner downed Jurgen Klopp's men.

That result propelled Chelsea into the top four of the Premier League table before the weekend's fixtures take place, and the Blues are out to extend their unbeaten streak to 11 matches since Tuchel took charge.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Thiago Silva

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: March 8 (vs. Everton)

Thiago Silva was kept out of the Liverpool match due to a thigh problem, and the Brazilian defender has now missed his side's last five Premier League fixtures. Silva participated in team training before the trip to Anfield but was not 100%, according to Tuchel, so it remains to be seen if he will be passed fit for this game.

Tammy Abraham

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: March 8 (vs. Everton)

Tammy Abraham has been struggling with an ankle problem and did not make the cut against Man United or Liverpool. The Englishman is not thought to be carrying anything serious but remains a major doubt for this game.

Chelsea have no players suspended for this match.
