Team News: Graziano Pelle drops out for Southampton against Chelsea

Shane Long replaces Graziano Pelle in the Southampton attack for their Premier League trip to Chelsea.

Graziano Pelle has been dropped by Ronald Koeman for Southampton's trip to Chelsea this afternoon.

The Italian, who has scored just one goal in 2015, has been replaced up front by Shane Long, while Steven Davis and Dusan Tadic have both been recalled.

Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld will also feature at centre-back alongside captain Jose Fonte following a stint on the sidelines.

There are no surprises in Jose Mourinho's Chelsea starting lineup, with Willian replacing Ramires in what is the only change from the side that was knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Costa
Subs: Cech, Luis, Zouma, Ramires, Cuadrado, Remy, Drogba

Southampton: Forster; Clyne, Fonte, Alderweireld, Bertrand; Wanyama, Schneiderlin, S Davis, Tadic, Mane; Long
Subs: K Davis, Yoshida, Gardos, Djuricic, Ward-Prowse, Pelle, Targett
