Roberto di Matteo makes five changes to the side that drew with Liverpool last weekend for the trip to West Brom, with John Terry and Juan Mata notable absentees.

Roberto Di Matteo has made five changes to the Chelsea side that drew with Liverpool for today's trip to West Bromwich Albion.

Gary Cahill, David Luiz, Oriol Romeu, Victor Moses and Daniel Sturridge come in for John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires, Juan Mata and Oscar.

For the high-flying Baggies, Gabriel Tamas, Peter Odemwingie and Zoltan Gera replace Gareth McAuley, Chris Brunt and Romelu Lukaku from last weekend's win at Wigan.

A win for the home side would see them move to within a point of Chelsea.

West Brom: Myhill; Jones, Tamas, Olsson, Ridgewell; Yacob, Mulumbu; Odemwingie, Morrison, Gera; Long

Chelsea: Cech; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Luiz, Bertrand; Romeu, Mikel; Moses, Hazard, Sturridge; Torres
