Team News: Demba Ba handed rare Chelsea start

Jose Mourinho names striker Demba Ba in his Chelsea lineup for the visit to Swansea City in the Premier League this afternoon.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has named striker Demba Ba in his starting lineup for the visit to Swansea City in the Premier League this afternoon.

Ba's last-gasp strike against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday sealed the Blues' passage to the semi-finals of the Champions League, and the Senegalese is rewarded for his heroics by being granted his first starting berth since December.

Nemanja Matic and Mohamed Salah, who were ineligible for the visit of PSG, return to the lineup today alongside Ramires, who is available for selection once again after suspension.

Meanwhile, Swans boss Garry Monk has selected to make two changes to his first XI from the 1-0 defeat to Hull City last time out.

Nathan Dyer and Pablo Hernandez come into the side at the expense of Michu and Jonathan de Guzman respectively, while Wilfried Bony continues to spearhead the Swans' attack.

Swansea City Vorm; Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies; Britton, Shelvey; Dyer, Hernandez, Routledge; Bony

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic, Salah, Willian, Schurrle; Ba
