Pablo Hernandez scores late to deny Chelsea three points

Pablo Hernandez scores two minutes from time to earn Swansea a point after Victor Moses had given Chelsea the lead in Wales.

The best chance of the early exchanges fell to Chelsea when Eden Hazard's corner was headed goalwards by Fernando Torres and Leon Britton cleared off the line.

The remainder of the opening half was mainly played out in Swansea's half but the playmaking trio of Hazard, Oscar and Victor Moses failed to penetrate the Swans' backline.

After the break, Chelsea started quickly and Hazard stung the palms of Premier League debutant Gerhard Tremmel before Moses couldn't direct a looped header on target.

The Blues took the lead in the 61st minute when Gary Cahill's header from a corner was diverted past Tremmel by Moses.

Chelsea failed to push for a second and in fact came under pressure from the Swans. Nathan Dyer almost caught out Petr Cech with a deep cross that the Chelsea keeper had to tip over his own crossbar.

The Welsh outfit found an equaliser two minutes from time when Hernandez twisted and turned on the edge of the Chelsea box before firing through a crowd of players into the bottom corner.

A point for the Blues means they are a point adrift of league leaders Manchester United while Swansea remain 11th.
