Fernando Torres: 'Liverpool fans don't know why I left'

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has claimed that Liverpool fans do not know the real reason why he left Anfield.

Reds fans were angered by the Spaniard's £50m move to the Blues during the January transfer window.

"Liverpool's fans have stuck with the story the club gave and they don't know the real story," Torres told Marca.

"I don't feel bitter towards them, they will always be special for me."

The two sides meet at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
