Chelsea captain John Terry: 'We showed character against Hull City'

Chelsea captain John Terry believes that he and his teammates showed "character" to get back into their tough clash against Hull City.

Chelsea captain John Terry has said that his team's "character" shone through after seeing off Hull City's fightback to win on Sunday.

The Blues relinquished a two-goal lead to draw level before Loic Remy sealed a 3-2 victory at the KC Stadium.

Chelsea's sole focus is winning the Premier League title after they were knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain at the last-16 stage.

"When you set the standard so high as we have done from the word go, then starting dropping points at home and going out of the Champions League, once again it comes back to character," the Daily Star quotes Terry as saying. "But showing character is what we have been about for years."

Chelsea are at the top of the table with a six-point lead over Manchester City.
