Stoke City are in talks to acquire Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku on loan, according to Sky Sports News.
The Blues bought the striker from Anderlecht on a five-year contract earlier this month for a fee of £18m, but it appears that the club are considering temporarily parting with him.
The 18-year-old made his Chelsea debut on Saturday in their home 3-1 victory against Norwich City, replacing an unconscious Didier Drogba.
Chelsea will next travel to Sunderland on Saturday, September 10 after the international break.
