Steaua Bucuresti chairman Gigi Becali goes on Romanian TV to criticise Chelsea and claims that Roman Abramovich needs "a slap or two".

Steaua Bucuresti chairman Gigi Becali has attacked both Chelsea and Roman Abramovich after their Europa League win on Thursday.

The Romanian outfit beat the European champions 1-0, and Becali went on national TV after the game to launch the broadside.

"You can have all the billions in the world, it's not important. Spirit is all that matters," Becali told Sport TV.

"Did you see anything dangerous from Chelsea? I didn't. Abramovich, take a slap or two to see how much of a billionaire you are!

"If we score in London, we are qualified. This isn't a team that can score three goals against us. Never!

"I saw one of their games and told you this is a very slow team. Chelsea do not have any speed. And if they don't have speed, then we will hit them badly."

The return leg will be played at Stamford Bridge on March 14.
