Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has returned to training following a period of self-isolation.
The 30-year-old tested positive for Covid-19 last month, meaning that he missed the Champions League fixture with Juventus and the game against Southampton in the Premier League.
As a result, Kante was also not included in France's squad for their Nations League fixtures this month.
Chelsea have today released a statement on their website which reads: "N'Golo Kante returned to training following his period of isolation from Covid-19.
"The French midfielder tested positive for Covid ahead of our Champions League trip to Juventus but after completing his period of self-isolation, he is now clear to resume training.
"Kante trained away from the main group today, working on his fitness with a number of individual drills, with the aim to integrate him back into things after the international break."
Kante, who also struggled with a groin injury earlier this season, will now be aiming to get himself match fit and ready for Chelsea's trip to Brentford when the Premier League returns on October 16.
