Jose Mourinho lauds Chelsea defensive outing

Jose Mourinho says that Chelsea defended well as a team after coming from behind to beat Liverpool on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho has heaped praise on his Chelsea defence following their win over Liverpool on Sunday.

The Blues fell behind early to a Martin Skrtel opener, but goals from Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto'o turned the game around before the break and Chelsea held on for a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge.

"The team did a very good job collectively," Mourinho told reporters. "It was more about my team defending really well with 10 players than specifically this one or that one."

Chelsea travel to Southampton on New Year's Day.
