Jose Mourinho: 'I will continue early handshake'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admits that he will repeat his gesture of offering early handshakes to opposing managers.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that he has no plans to stop offering an early handshake to an opposing manager.

Mourinho has branded "disrespectful" by Paul Lambert and "disgraceful" by Roy Keane after attempting to shake hands with the Aston Villa duo before the final whistle of their Premier League fixture last month.

However, despite being criticised, Mourinho has revealed that he isn't considering changing his ways if the opportunity arises again.

The 51-year-old told reporters: "I appreciate their comments. I think that they are both two great examples of polite and educated people, and because I am a guy who tries to learn every day and with every experience."

When quizzed whether he will do it again, Mourinho answered: "Yes."

Mourinho has been no stranger to altercations with managers in the opposite dugout in recent weeks after he was also involved in a spat with Arsene Wenger.
