The Portuguese, who departed Real Madrid to join Chelsea this summer, won the treble with Inter in 2010.
"I called Mourinho to wish him the best for his return to Chelsea," Moratti told La Stampa.
"What did Jose say? He said we'll meet again at Inter in three years."
Mourinho signed a four-year deal with Chelsea last month.
