Everton forward Kevin Mirallas has revealed that teammate Romelu Lukaku is ready to play through the pain barrier against his former club Chelsea this evening.
The Blues host Jose Mourinho's side at Goodison Park in the day's evening kickoff, and the Belgian has said that his compatriot is raring to go, despite carrying a slight injury.
"He does have a small injury to his toe but he's keen to get out and play against his former club," Mirallas told the club's official website.
"It's true it didn't all go his way in a footballing sense when he was at Chelsea, but he does have some happy memories at that club. But the important thing is he now plays for this club and he's hoping to have a decisive role in the game."
Lukaku joined the Toffees from Stamford Bridge for a club-record £28m earlier this summer.
