Former Chelsea youngster Jacob Mellis has been arrested after a brawl with his girlfriend.
The 21-year-old was taken into police custody after being treated at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey following the disturbance at 3am this morning.
Both he and his girlfriend have admitted charges of common assault after officers were forced to kick down the door of his home in Cobham.
Mellis, who was sacked by the Blues after letting off a smoke grenade at the club's training ground, is currently on trial with Queens Park Rangers.
