Jokanovic being considered for Chelsea job?

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has emerged as a surprise rumoured contender to replace Antonio Conte at Chelsea later this year.

The 49-year-old, who spent a couple of seasons with the Blues during his playing days, is said to have impressed officials at his former club with his work in the second tier.

Chelsea are on the lookout for a new boss as tension continues to grow between Conte and the board, with Luis Enrique still understood to be their first choice.

Jokanovic is another name in the frame to take charge should Enrique turn down the invitation to manage Chelsea, however, having set Fulham up for an automatic promotion charge in the Championship.

According to the Daily Mail, the Serb is seen as a commanding presence in the changing room and his pleasing-on-the-eye football will go down well in West London.

Fulham are unbeaten in the league since December and are five points off the top two.
